TOHO Global Inc. and Overlook Events are pleased to present the official Makoto Shinkai concert, featuring his three most recent films: Your Name (2016), Weathering With You (2019), and Suzume (2022), in an exceptional live-to-picture concert experience, with music composed by RADWIMPS and Kazuma Jinnouchi.

The Movies of Makoto Shinkai in Concert offers audiences a unique opportunity to rediscover these three masterpieces in a spectacular cinematic concert format. Featuring newly edited 4K montages synchronized live with a full symphony orchestra, the concert brings the most powerful moments of the films to life through their unforgettable music.

The first part of the concert focuses on Weathering With You and Suzume, presented as live-to-picture suites that revisit the stories of the films while highlighting the music of RADWIMPS. The second part of the evening is entirely dedicated to Your Name, recounting the touching story of Mitsuha Miyamizu and Taki Tachibana through a carefully crafted cinematic montage, perfectly synchronized with the music of RADWIMPS and Kazuma Jinnouchi, performed by a full symphony orchestra.

At the heart of the concert experience are Makoto Shinkai’s stories themselves, allowing audiences to relive the major narrative arcs of the three films through stunning 4K visuals, perfectly synchronized with the orchestra.
